Experience the serenity of the Arctic Nature on our snowshoing excursion. Hear the snow crunching under Your feet, breath the crystal clear arctic air and savour the arctic lights. Narvik Mountain Lodge take you out to explore the nature surrounding the city of Narvik.
The Excursion starts at the Narvik Town Square from where we will drive up to the mountains. Only 5 minutes’ drive from Narvik city center the Narvik Mountain Lodge is located in a mountain called Fagernesfjellet. This will be our starting point for this excursion and the perfect location for a soft snowshoeing adventure.
While snowshoe walking you will be guided to spectacular viewing Points around Narvik. During the tour you will visit The Mountain Lodge where you will be served hot drinks and lights snacks by the fire and enjoying the magnificent view over the city and surrounding fjords.
We offer both day and Nights snowshoing trips. Our evening trips are perfect for experiencing the northern lights. The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and when this proves to us this is one of the best spots in Narvik to enjoy this beautiful sight on the sky.

Opp+Ned Fjellføring is a small guiding company that offers all season mountain guiding in northern Norway. Opp+Ned is based in Narvik and is owned and run by Marius Opdahl Larsen. He is an internationally certified Mountain Guide (IFMGA-UIAGM-IVBV) through the Norwegian guide association Nortind. He also works as a field observer for the Norwegian avalanche forecasting service in the region of Narvik.
